Sat Jul 19, 2008 at 01:39:47 PM PDT
I'm always curious about how events like NN08 are covered so I poke around to see who's saying what. I thought I'd pass along some of the more interesting bits I've found. It's not an exhaustive list. Please feel free to add your finds in the comments.
So, here's a round up of news and blog coverage of Netroots Nation through about 2pm EST on Saturday. Check out the links including lots of video links below the fold.
Here's yesterday's edition.

YearlyKos 2007 in Chicago was a terrific time. I couldn't make Netroots Nation 2008 in Austin so I thought I'd try to collect some of the coverage of NN08 in the media and blogs. Check out the links below the fold.
I do want to point out that there's one right-wing type roaming the halls of NN08 attempting to pretend he's a liberal and then going home to blog about it. There may be more. NN08 attendees - be careful what you say to who.

Thomas Nephew at newsrackblog attended a Human Rights First session the other day which he described as follows:
Human Rights First has brought together about twenty pros with significant interrogation experience this week to lobby Congress and the presidential campaigns, and to speak to the public about what works and what doesn't when it comes to gaining credible intelligence -- as opposed to unreliable information -- from interrogations.

How do you spell desperation? G.O.P.
Sat Oct 28, 2006 at 11:34:17 AM PDT
Want to know what desperation looks like?
Here's what Bill Frist and Ken Mehlman sent out yesterday in a desperation email fundraiser. They're scared to death that John Kerry and Ted Kennedy ponied up to elect Democrats.
Let's see their $2 million, and raise them.
Have you got your checkbook out yet? Go to ActBlue.com here, here or here and make sure that our Democratic candidates don't miss this "critical opportunity...to reverse the Bush Administration."
And get ready to vote for "3 at the Buzzer" starting at 7 am eastern, Wednesday on www.johnkerry.com to really scare the Republicans.
